GODIN LG sp90s or tetrads

: I'm planning to buy a Godin LG (used), but I'm not too sure about the pickups. : I'm choosing between a 1995 model with 2 tetrad pickups (1 tetrad pickup is 2 humbuckers) and a 2001 model with the seymour duncan sp90's : I play mostly rock, quite heavy, so I'm considering the older model withe the tetrads. : On the other hand, it has to to have a good warm clean sound too, so I'm not sure what to do. : I'll play it through a bedrock 621 all tube amp : anyone?? : thanks
