Guitar Identity Needed!

: This is a bit of a curly one, but I have seen a particular guitar used by bands on TV lately (Australian TV) eg Taxiride, and I cant figure out what it is, and I have seen half a dozen of them! They are a carved top (doesnt appear to be maple) with translucent colouring with cream binding and a double cutaway style, twin humbuckers and is similar to Peavey EVH or EB musicman but with a rectangular headstock. Nice looking guitar, but it only appears to be Australian artists using them.
