Martins are fine instruments. If you are breaking that many strings you need to change (improve) your technique. I haven't broken a string in years. I play 3 - 5 hours a day, plus repairing some guitars and dressing & filing frets. Plus I also perform.

Perhaps your guitar is also tuned too high. Is it tuned to 440?

Your problem is obvious, if you would use extralight strings you would have no problem breaking strings. They would break easily with your aggressive playing style. Why not change your bad strumming habits?
