This is for all you vintage pedal owners.TAKE SPECIAL CARE OF YOUR STOMP-BOXES! Alot of techs. don't want to fix these boxes because there's no money in it, and don't want to bother. And if you do want them fixed, it'll cost you your first born child. Over the past couple of years I've practiced "SAFE EFFECTS" managment.
When not in use, store your boxes in a sandwich-bag or
somthing.Dirt and moisture can wreak havok on the resistors ,diods, and circuitry.A lot of components are
carbon based, air can also effect them.
Beware of people auctioning these boxes.Look at picture
of pedal. This should tell you if the pedal has been abused.Flood them with questions,if you are already familiar with the unit.
Use the proper adaptor, always.Certain pedals may have different VOLTAGE, AMPERAGE requirements.Using the wrong adaptor can either FRY your pedal or cause it not to function properly.
I give "THE FINGER" to all you lazy-assed techs who won't help us out. I give "TWO FINGERS" to Roland(BOSS)
Their web site sucks and they're difficult to deal with!!
Good luck, watch your back fellow players
