: : I'm looking for nylon saddles to replace the metal ones on my Epiphone Sheraton ll Guitar. Can anyone help me.

Graph tech makes graphite saddles for the various
tunematic bridges. Depending on exactly what bridge
you Epi has you might be able to use the gibson nylon
saddles. If your bridge has the adjustable thumb
wheels like a Gibson they *should* fit; they won't
if you have the bridge that has the larger posts
that you need a screwdriver to adjust. No idea where
you can get the gibson ones though.

Why change them? I had a Les Paul that had the nylon
saddles and it didn't sound very good with them. Much
better sustain and tone with metal saddles imho. But
it's pretty impossible to break strings with the nylon
tho, but you can break the saddles.

I don't know how the graphite saddles sound from my
own experience, I;ve heard both pro and con about them..
