The inventor of the Electric Guitar is Mr. Terauchi Takeshi. His father was an electrician and he was tinkering with the radio set to connect it with the guitar. I do not know the exact date but it was invented in Japan. I just met this guy last week.
He was 64 and still playing concerts. A really kind and nice guy who thinks of others before himself.
