I have an Ibanez Jem 77bfp, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many has been made of the model, and what year mine would be from.

to the best of my knowledge – the first two digits of the serial number are the manufacture year – therefore yours is a ’91 model – in relation to numbers http://www.jemsite.com doesnt have exact figures but does refer to it as uncommon – its certainly my personal favourite

They were produced from 1991-1994. Is that the serial number from the neckplate? Also, would you like to sell it?
