Please help, so far all I have is a fender reissue twin reverb and an original mesa boogie mark 1.I also have a handful of pedals. Should I mess around with rack effects or processors? I reall y want that vintage tone so Im imagining Ill have to stay away from digital gear. I gues Im going through that phase every guitar player goes though for their search for tone. HEY !!! thats my sound too. Ive tryed to get that sound with marshalls but it never sounded right. I get real close using a les paul with gibson pickups NOT the high output ones. I run it into a 1968 fender bandmaster head into a marshall cabinet mines a 8-10 and i get close with that. keep in mind not all amps sound the same. even with the same make & model. so you just have to mess with it. I dig the older fender heads though marshall cabs, but you may find it another way , good luck
