Do you have any experience with the 450's? Also, do the 500's seem to be "perma-bright" as in they sound really bright, and when you roll back the tone or treble, just sound like shit instead of darkening some? What sort of wood is the body of the axe they're in? Because that would have some effect for their brightness, too.
