I’ve had this bass for 20 years, and from the
research I have done to determine the date of
manufacture, I have determined it to be a 1968 (Serial # on back of headstock: 904815, no made in the usa) It was professionally refinished by Ed Vig of Minneapolis in 1999. It has original Gibson pick-ups, but new electronics as the original set up was low impedance and rather weak. Seymour Duncan on-board preamp with bass/treble sweep, pick-up selection, and push/pull volume (gain). I have original case in good
condition.
