: The best thing is to go out and play as many different types and choose what feels right to you. One bit of advice regardless of which type you get it is well advised to get a good quality guitar, don't get a cheap knockoff and don't be afarid to play guitars that are out of your price range this is a good thing to do then you will have an idea of what a real quality guitar feels like vs. a cheap guitar.
