: I had a Ibanez les paul copy when I was in my teens. It was a very good guitar, but I would suggest the Godin Exit 22. I got one a few months ago and the thing is built solid as a rock and sounds great. It lists for 497.00 but you can usually get them new for about 400.00. I've seen them on ebay for less and supposedly new. Godins are extremely high quality for not too much dough. Check them out at godinguitars.com, click on guitars, then "performance series" to check one out.
