: You have a choice of maple and rosewood with the exit 22. The body is solid natural mahagony with a beautiful satin finish and the necks are rock maple. I got the rosewood fretboard with mine. I think the maple fretboard actually looks better. To tell you the truth, I don't know if I could tell the difference in sound. I think there's a press article comparing the difference in fretboards. I'm getting back into it after about a 20 year break, so consider me somewhat of an advanced beginner.
