I have a vintage F-230 model with the serial number and I was wondering how I find out about this instrument. Thanks

I just aquired an F-230 from my brother . He got it from a guy in Santa Cruz years ago . I cant read the serial number, but I read F-230 . I am also interested in this guitar , would like to find out more about it . I know this guitar is at least 40 years old . Because of the stain its hard to tell what the woods are . It looks like a rosewood back , rosewood side also, but a diff. stain on sides . The back is 2 pieces , divided by a 1/8th inch center . top is spruce , I think. Rosewood fingerboard , but dark , it might be ebony, It has inlaid pearl dots on frets and name on top. From a short distance , you would swear this guitar is a Martin . Thats what it resembles, Except the head . Its a Fender acoustic head . You can see this immediately. I put twelves on it and man its hard to play compared to my electric guitars . When struming chords , it really rings out like a Martin also. I like this guitar . Also , like Brian , I would like to learn more about this guitar . Anybody can Help ??????
