Hey, I've been playing guitar for just over two years now, but I still haven't learned many scales. I play all styles - rock, jazz, funk, metal etc... and I'm familiar with most of the chording stuff. Knowing the chording works fine for my rhythm guitaring, but I want to dig deeper into the world of soloing and really learn how to play guitar.
The only scale I know well is the pentatonic scale, which works well for typical blues/rock soloing. What are some other good scales to learn? Fingering patterns, tabulature, names of the scales, and/or note-names would be really helpful! Thanks
