Crate GLX30 question

: I've had a Crate GLX30 for my entire guitarplaying carreer and i'm looking for a stronger sound but i dont have enough money to buy a new amp. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what i could do. i've been wondering about the speaker jack but wasnt sure if it was any use, and if so, wut kind of speaker would be good.
