I stuck with this GV-2 and tweaked the F#@$er until i found something I liked. It worked well w/ my alnico II's. I still need a bigger amp but this suffices for recording until then. I'd say, if you have a Gibson LP, start with the Gv-2. Now all i need to do is tweak my EQ. Anyone have any good settings for the Ge-7?
i saw slash play at a guitar show in london, i thought it was going to be rubbish, he had left G'n'R and was promoting his then new slash sig marshall head, so out he comes on stage, gives it the 'it's great to be back in the UK blah blah blah' his backing band start up a rock number, and he plays the best guitar ive ever heard, i stood thier open mouthed for 30 mins, and could not beleive my ears, the man is a pure guitar genius. i wont go on, you get the general idea..
