hey babycakes,
you can either do it by using a piano (but who the hell actually does that??!!) you can do it by ear, if your really good, but its never accurate, or you can do what normal people do and buy a $20 or so guitar tuner, or if you have an effects peddle like my DigiTech RP200, it has a tuner built right in, but those peddles are like $300 bucks, anyway, if you have any questions or want help with anything else, you can e-mail me, or if u got ICQ, my #'s 69540464
