i dont think that i can answer your question, but i have one for you. there is a 1980 gibson firebrand gibson for sale at a shop where i live in portland me. this may help you a little, its used and he wants 625 dollars, hardshell included. there is nothing wrong with it as far as i could tell. i played it for about 40 mins and it was fine. my question though is, where do i learn more about this guitar. is it realy a gibson. why is it so inexpensive?
