A POD an amp modeling system, I'm sure you've heard of those, they are the "newest thing". The POD's, however, are not part of a amplifier, they are seperate. They look kind of like a small effects processor. A speaker "cab" is simply a speaker cabinet. You know, the big box that your speaker is in. That's it!
