The GT-3 doesn't have such a noticible delay between patches eather, and i know there is a way to make delay effect not cut when changing patches ( it says on the manual ) but i still haven't had the time to figure it out.-- I also use single pedals along with my multi-effects, it doesn't change sound quality....the GT-3 also gives you the option of adding your own distortion pedal in the chain.
