Euless Man Wins Mega Whistle Contest at State Fair of Texas

- Press Release

Shane Franklin of Euless, Texas was named the Mega Whistle winner during the "Dodge Mega Livin', Mega Givin'" longest
whistle contest at the State Fair of Texas Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005. The contest,
which is a part of a 'larger-than-life' celebration, is helping to raise money
for the American Red Cross to benefit local Texas hurricane relief efforts.

With the help of her grandmother, Diana Perry, of Fredericksburg, Texas,
Madison was able to tease her hair out to measure 22.5 inches wide by 10
inches high. The dimensions of her new hairstyle were large enough to name
her the big winner in the Mega Hair contest.

"The Mega Hair contest was a lot of fun," Maddison said. "I can't believe
we got my hair to be so big!"

The contest was one of six "mega" contests being sponsored by the Dodge
Ram Mega Cab(TM) in recognition of all things "mega" in Texas. To honor the
large size of Texans' hearts, Chrysler Group will donate $25 on behalf of the
first 100 participants in each of the six contests to the American Red Cross
to benefit local hurricane relief efforts for a total of $15,000.

As a mega winner, Maddison walked away with a Mega Livin' Gift Package
that included her choice of a getaway to an exclusive hotel or a Mega Livin'
Sports experience.

The contests kick-off the Dodge brand's Mega Livin', Mega Givin'
celebration at the Dodge Truck display which introduces Texans to the new 2006
Dodge Ram Mega Cab(TM). Sporting the largest pickup cab ever, Dodge Ram Mega
Cab will be displayed with other super-sized "mega wonders" such as the
largest pair of authentic cowboy boots and a super-sized HEMI-powered
tricycle. The week's activities culminate with a free benefit concert Friday,
Oct. 7 at the Smirnoff Music Center.

Other "mega" contests include:
- Mega Buckle (biggest belt buckle)
- Mega Height (tallest woman/man contest)
- Mega Hair (biggest hair contest)
- Mega Foot (largest boot size/foot)
- Mega Mouth (longest whistle)
- Mega Lid (biggest hat/head)
