Guys,
Welcome Stacey…
She is the newest member of our team – who also just happens to like the disney guitar in the worst finish thread, worst guitar ever thread and the general worst guitar concept ever invented thread. Don’t hold that against her but 😀

Magnanimus Sextus, thank you. In the words of Weird Al Jankovic, “I’ve bought some crap off of eBay”, but a Bolton-signed Teapot isn’t one of them 🙂

Okay yes.. okay.. the tea pot was maybe taking it a little too far. My apologies.

Mike, that sort of libellous stuff isn’t on you know. Some peeps may take you seriously and lead us into a delete/reinstate war. Battle of the mods; Brighton beach, clicking mice at each other? Please, as a chum, clarify that the “signed teapot” thing was a figment too far. Please, I have a tattered reputation to keep, that is so-far “Soul Provider” free.
-
October 27, 2005 at 11:12 am #75210MichaelParticipant
The fact you admitted to owning a signed Michael Bolton tea pot was enough to leave me wondering what you were on, let alone what you were drinking. 🙂

Drunken moments? Just because I post at unsocial hours, waht maeks youthnk I’m icnapcitated, huh? Edivence – shoo me the edivence.

There’s probably other things you have told us in drunken moments you have forgot about – we have not.

How did you know about my hair 😯 ? How much personal crud have I plastered on these pages? Blimey, I thought I’d kept my cards close to my chest; but I’m a rat-sporting, Hondo-owning, tennis-losing garbage-posting lefty. I sound like that old Pepsi ad of the ’70s.

Well.. I think you have to Lee. It would be fair to say the Ninja Turtles electric available at Target for $12 is not a real guitar (in general terms), because it produces noise by pulling on a large rats tail (not 1basslefts hair, Splinters). Mickey however is an instrument.
-
October 24, 2005 at 7:49 am #75236lee_UKParticipant
nicely said Mike, i think its more a toy though, surely we cant count it as an instrument?
-
October 24, 2005 at 6:21 am #75208MichaelParticipant
The Mickey is actually sort of appealing.. in the sense you could prob make a packet back on it from Disney fanatics.

you always did have good taste glw.

Given that choice I’d go for the Mickey Mouse.

I bet because its Disney its probably worth more than a PRS Dragon with a full Mother of pearl Jacket !

Blimey, Lee. In the words of Bob Mortimer, “You wouldn’t let it lie”
I like glw’s Disney guitar. It’s plastic and disposable. Perhaps it can be set up so that you have to queue several hours for it, then pay several times over the odds. Authentic Disney product.
Hello Stacey.
I think I put the DisStrat in all of those threads, so I shall consider my buttocks well and virtually kicked. I still wouldn’t be seen dead with it, though. No doubt, Lee will suggest you challenge me to a tennis match to see who’s right
To even things up Bass, She would of course have to have both hands tied behind her back, barefoot and only allowed to return serve with her feet. 😆

If you want a Mickey Mouse guitar then the law says it must be like the one below:
http://ix.clubanywhere.com/contrib/d/e/denny/4171.JPG
It’s acoustic, very probably plastic and, I’d guess, largely unplayable. The cunning part is that his ears would appear to be the soundholes.
Mickey on a serious guitar, however, is sacrilege.

I think it looks pretty !!!!!!!!!

Hey Stacey,
You can put Mickey on a hat or maybe a T-shirt or poster, but never on an electric guitar. Some surfaces in the universe cannot be desecrated. We disagree. SB
