The game is simple: One person selects two 80's artists and the person who replies chooses who would win. After which they of course select two 80's artist of their own. To make it even more fun you can set your own deciding factor, such as "which of these 2 wore the most absurdly ugly fluro white clothes?"

George Michael.

Most padded 'spandex-clad-crotch': Axl Rose or all of Motley Crue put together.

That'd be Cameo. Wasn't just the "Word Up", judging by the codpieces.

The head of what ?Laughing OK, my turn;

Which band was named after the most forgettable member (probably owned the PA when they were teenagers)?

1) J Geils Band (Centerfold "Ner, ner, nee ner nee ner", remember?)
2) Kevin Rowland's Dexy's Midnight Runners. What was wrong with the smaller mouthful?

Dexy's?

Q: Can one correctly sing Come On Eileen when drunk? Or is being drunk in fact an actual requirement?

Maybe I'll tell you the true, funny, but not-family-orientated story around all of the above on PM or Mod's forum Laughing

I was about to say what could possibly be wrong with a story about them until I said Come On Eileen out loud to myself. If I'm way off, please do tell us all.

No, Mike. You've pretty much got the punchline Laughing

This bit is abs true. Dexy's had a hit single and appeared on Top of the Pops performing "Jackie Wilson Said". The Floor Manager of TOTP had never heard of Jackie Wilson, but he must have been keen on pub sports. He put a huge, blowup photo of the lardy, Scottish darts player Jocky Wilson as a backdrop for the band.

This was re-shown on the pop-comedy prog Never Mind The Buzzcocks and the host, Mark Lamarr, added "but that was nothing compared to the mistake he made with the photo for Come on Eileen" Embarassed
