To be fair to Washburn, Lee, I have bought off Warpdrive on the Fleeb. I think they specialize in seconds and selloffs. The 5-string Washburn bass neck I got from them had very sharp fretends in need of filing down. I bought it as a project piece so I wasn't complaining too much but they didn't mention it specifically in the descn. With Dreamline's comments, I think it stands to reason to check exactly what you're getting with Warpdrive. A look at their other auctions will show you that they deal in a lot of unfinished parts.
Not a criticism of Warpdrive as such; they sell factory seconds I guess, but don't take it necessarily as what happens when buying a Washburn from the usual places. |
