In addition to the 16 new Signature Series models being introduced in 2006, the company is also debuting six new standard LTD-brand guitars and basses. Four of the new models (B-500, F-500, EC-500 and Viper-500) replace last year’s popular Anniversary Series guitars and basses, making them standard models in the LTD line. Additionally, the limited edition SURV-400 bass and M-400 guitar are being shown for the first time at NAMM.

“The LTD brand has enabled hundreds of MI dealers to take advantage of the ESP name at a price point that their customers can afford,” says Matt Masciandaro, ESP president. “We’ve continued to refine the LTD line, offering a wide variety of choices that suit the needs of different levels of musicians from beginners to professionals.”

The six new LTD models for include the following:

LTD B-500
LTD Bass. Replaces B-2005 anniversary model in LTD line. Black satin finish, neck-thru 35” scale design, mahogany body, 5-pc maple/walnut neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard and model-name inlay at 12th fret, BB-605 bridge, Grover tuners, EMG 35DC and 35P4 pickups.

LTD F-500
LTD guitar. Replaces F-2005 anniversary model in LTD line. Black satin finish, set-thru neck 25.5” scale design, mahogany body, 3-pc maple neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard and model name at 12th fret, string-thru body bridge, EMG 81 pickups.

LTD EC-500
LTD guitar. Replaces EC-2005 anniversary model in LTD line. Set neck 24.75” scale design, mahogany body, 3-pc maple neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard and model name at 12th fret, string-thru body bridge, EMG 81/60 pickups.

LTD Viper-500
LTD guitar. Replaces Vipre-2005 anniversary model in LTD line. Set neck 24.75” scale design, mahogany body, 3-pc maple neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard and model name at 12th fret, string-thru body bridge, EMG 81/85 pickups.

LTD SURV-400
Limited edition LTD bass. Two finishes available: Black and Natural, bolt-on 34” scale design, ash body, maple neck with 21-fret ebony fingerboard and dot inlays, Wilkinson bridge, ESP/LTD tuners, EMG MMTW and 35/P4 pickups, 3-band EQ.

LTD M-400
LTD Guitar. Black finish, set-thru 25.5” scale design, alder body, 3-pc maple neck with 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and pearloid arrowhead inlay, white binding on head and neck, EMG 81 pickups.
