Being the first of its kind and sporting Ampeg’s legendary signature tones, Ampeg® SVX will set the future standard for bass amp modeling plug-ins around the world. Powered by AmpliTube, with IK’s classic DSM™ emulation technology, Ampeg SVX offers a sound for bass players they have come to trust, modeled component-by-component after Ampeg® hardware.

Some of the features disclosed in the new Ampeg SVX include: a complete bass pedal board with 6 fully configurable stomp effects, 4 modules, with Tuner, Stomp, Amp, Cabinet +Mic selection/placement, the ability to mix and match between four amps and six cabinet models of sought-after Ampeg® gear to produce 24 different bass amp combinations, and the choice of two parallel signal paths to mix amped/direct signals. Among these features, Ampeg SVX also comes with hundreds of presets, ready to go, giving all musicians and songwriters the option to have an all-in-one solution for bass amplification modeling and recording.

Ampeg SVX is coming soon from IK Multimedia, and expected to be released in the first Quarter of 2006 with an MSRP of 99 / €329.
