I have been searching for information on my Espana Guitar for a while now. (a picture of a guitar similar to mine can be found here – http://www.hagstrom.org.uk/other_brands.htm – Just look for the name Ellen Kelly) My guitars looks exactly like this one. I have owned it since 1973 when I bought it from a friend for 100 dollars. It is a model EL-200. I really dont know much more than that. Anything anyone could tell me would be appreicated.

    Thanks.

      Hi Cardnut,

Espana was made in Scandinavia but it was Finland, not Norway as stated on the Hagstrom UK page. I think the EL200 was produced in the 1970’s. I have a 1967 Espana catalog up on VintAxe.com if you are interested in an earlier incarnation of your guitar. The models listed in the catalog are the EL39 and EL36.
