I know it's not outrageously ugly but it seems a very messy solution to a simple problem:

It looks very erm.. well i think his t-shirt says it all, after you take off the OG.

Nicely done :P :P

Tim, to be fair to Traveler Guitars, they have recently re-designed much of their range with much more pleasing to the eye body shapes.

It's those tuners though, which seem to be a 'signature' feature! that look nasty. There must be a more aesthetically pleasing way round the problem. I guess bridge tuners wouldn't work with the acoustic bit?

Although making the one in the pic out of Granny's old sideboard didn't help either.

The thing is Tim, those tuners in the body actually work quite well. (I own a Pro Series Traveler - the thing is virtually indestructable).

Most of the Traveler range are piezo-driven electro-acoustics (albeit solids) and so a Steinberger-esque bridge/tuner assembly wouldn't really be suitable. Admittedly, their two all-electric models could benefit from this set-up.

I Agree with glw Tim, i think they do exactly what it says on the tin, who cares if you look a bit of a Barclays Banker playing it? Its only for the hotel room or the back of the car!! it's a traveller you dont go up in front of 10,000 screaming fans at the O2 center and give it a 2 minute solo!

I still dont think i could wear the T-shirt though, do you have to wear one?

:D Man, I need to get out more...

But yeah, like I said in my first post, not outrageously ugly just a bit, eww. Maybe they could be covered on the front and have one removable turning key that adjusted all the machine heads or something? I don't know, first thing that popped into my head...

Maybe a little blow up valve on the side, two puffs and it blows up to reveal a gibson les paul?
Im full of erm... ideas?

 Do you think thats possible?!
