In all seriousness, I think the above image is rocks greatest photo.

I believe the photographer's aim was to show that music brings us all together, young and old, black and white, long haired and short haired. The crossing of the bows symbolises the joining of one generation to the next through the timeless art of rock n roll. The tucked in shirt (with flames) on the boy a very clever jab at today's conservatism, whilst the older genetlemans shirt a homage to fashions best. The sun glasses however were to simply help with the glare.

Rock on.

Total dedication, he's playing in the middle of a force 10, his hair doesnt look like it's his own (some Yak woke up this morning bald as a coot) he is being forced (nobody plays one at their own will) to play an Explorer type guitar, and he has recently been shot 3 times in the knee caps, the grimace however is from having to wear a sleevless t-shirt without sporting so much as a single tatoo.
The 80's was full of dedicated guitarists.
He also has a very short right leg with an incredibly large right foot.
Fantastic.

Just realised how abrupt that sounded, it was one of those 'quick bit of foruming before the pub' posts, sorry.

Is that (a very young!) James Hetfield?
