I received an email earlier in the week from Loni Specter, wanting to let us all know of an upcoming new consumer event dedicated to the guitar and bass amplifier.

Aptly named AMP SHOW, it will be held Saturday May 7, 2005 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel and Conference Center at Van Nuys Airport in the Los Angeles area. It will feature Private Rooms for each manufacturer to facilitate demos, allowing the consumer to plug in and play some of the most desireable amps and effects available with no volume restriction.

Highlights of AMP SHOW include:
* Live performances and demonstrations in a 350+ capacity ballroom.
* Personal appearances by endorsing artists
* Thousands of dollars in product giveaways by Groove Tubes, Hoffman, THD, Rivera, Marshall, Vox, Z-vex, Duncan and more.
