I purchased a guitar body and custom painted it. Now I have to purchase the pots, jack, and 5 way selector for 2 single coils and a humbucker to one volume knob and one tone knob. I already own the pickups. How do I wire these up? Does anyone have a source to go to that includes diagrams? Is there a kit to purchase?

    Thanks!

    Mark

Nice to read you again, Bob and thanks for the link. I also agree with tip #1 about changing one string at a time, and here’s another reason. The owner of a Gibson/Epiphone Thunderbird bass removed all strings and turned the bass upright. The whole bridge kaboodle became a jumble of spare parts on his floor 😯 . Not nice.

1bl, Mutual appreciation time: I bookmarked it when you sent me there, I haven’t got the time or patience to find the decent websites hidden by the hordes of ‘less than good’ ones out there, so thank you again! 😀

Tim’s recomm is a good place to start and you don’t really need to go anywhere else. It’s an excellent, free resource and I can’t praise it too highly.
