A Musical April Fools:
Sanctuary Records Group shut down the Kelly Osbourne fansite at www.kellyosbourne.org/fools.php with a some news sites falling for it.

You wouldn't have found this one on any file sharing networks. The new Microsoft(R) .GET.NET P2P software: http://dotget.net/index-aprilfools.html

And the McHip-hop name-drop is also a April Fools day joke now? http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/294121p-251806c.html According to Urgo it was.

Music News site antiMUSIC published a whole bunch of fake reports. From 50 Cent Enters Politics to the KISS Burger: http://www.antimusic.com/rocknews/

Tom from MusicThing had some synth news that made a lot people get all excited and then even more people feel let down: http://musicthing.blogspot.com/2005/04/next-up-from-behringer-real-analog.html

Let me know if you know of anymore.

But off the subject of April Fools, Tom also has a pic of a Happy Man with Plastic Guitar. Seems the guitar is connected to a games arcade style machine. That got me thinking is there a guitar controller for the Playstation? Yes there is.

Also you may want to attend a conference for lovers of strange instruments: http://musicthing.blogspot.com/2005/03/conference-for-lovers-of-strange.html

Lastly, download music from the U.S. Air Force Bands Program: http://www.af.mil/band/

Cya next week.
