This is the season of giving - as in giving myself an ebay treat Wink . First off, I noticed a ($425, reserve not met) Shecter Tele that looked quite pretty (see the other thread on this category)

but, like buses, three pieces of droolery all come at once. Even better is this ($999 BIN) G+L L2500:

and, best of all, a Lakland 55-94

with topnotch wood choices and the preferred Bartolini pups.

OK, you've noticed they're all lefties (and two are 5-strings) but give me a break; this is my Christmas panting here. What would you like to see in your stocking, fellow Bass players?

Oh yes, an EB2 is a fine choice for the Santa-note. Preferably not one that some dumbf**k has painted a hideous metallic purple. What was that guy thinking Shocked Laughing

To be fair he could paint a nice portrait of his mum naked, in primary colours, as long as it brought the price down...nothing a can of satin black wouldn't cover! Very Happy

Awaiting your generous contribution to the funds, Mike Laughing

Funnely nuff, I have found one of those cheap "BIN" bass deals that's really worth having. Seriously, I've emailed them to let them know that I'd be interested in three of the models. A bit of electrics replacement and they should be nice parlour players. None over £170 either. You blasted righties get all the deals. They're thinking about lefties (on the 5-string, at least. Not sure about the 8-string and the semi-acoustic).
