Are you ok for a thread about vacations?
What would be your dream vacation and why?
Where did you go?
Where would you recommend (or not!!) your friend to go and why?
What do you like (or hate) most while travelling?
Thanks for posting your opinion and experiences... and some pictures of course!

My last vacation was in Saint-Martin (Marteen?) island last week.I cannot say that i could recommend that place...very expensive : $6 for a diet coke...$17 for a plate of pastas i ordered for my daughter!!
Many artificial beaches, only one road and...so much traffic as you can't imagine. Not idyllic even if the weather was fine.
My wife and i went there for our daughter and she enjoyed, that's the most important!!
A few pics here :

I'll be back soon with pics of my best vacations in Dubai and Las Vegas and questions for Michael about Australia!! Wink

Well I haven't been on a vacation since 2005/2006 Xmas break. That was to NZ. Thankfully I had beautiful weather 99% of the time.

Only one picture of the trip but on the work computer:

Here's me skydiving in Queenstown. As you can see, beautiful scenery. I'm the chap underneath the guy who was deciding whether I die or land on our feet.

In that case, I'm lucky Ralph Fiennes wasn't my instructor.

Had to think about that one Confused . The Qantas in-flight entertainment, of course. I remember her shag-and-tell had all that "chemistry between us" guff. That'd be the hand-soap dispenser in the cramped toilet, then.
