Okay folks…
I once owned the following described guitar in 1991/1992. It was stolen from my band’s practice space several years ago. I have looked and looked for another one but have not been successful. This guitar had no badge on it of any kind. If i knew the brand, it might make things easier. So here’s the description.first off, the closest thing I have found is a Hamer Studio Series.. But nothing identical.. The studio series only ever had 3 knobs, mine had four and my selector switch was in a different place.
Body: Double cutaway, rounded end, Solid Mahogany Natural (Dark w/3 light strips down the center from neck to end ala Rickenbocker) Clear Coat.. Very Heavy Heavy Guitar..
Neck: Rose wood fret board, no laquer, thin fast neck.
Head Stock: Brass Machine heads.. i believe it was 3 top 3 bottom arrangment like a les paul.
Pick Ups: 2 Doubles (Bridge and Neck)
Pot Knobs: Round and flat no taper, the number were set into scallops, 2 volume 2 Tone (Brass)
1 – 3 position toggle switch and a coil tap switch (no coil taps in the tone pots)
Bridge: Brass Stationary w/string through body…
If you believe you know of something similar or have a photo of something similar, please feel free to e-mail me.
thanks in advance!!!
