Looking for a yamaki acoustic of the ‘s’ series… AY333s, A133s, even AY331s from ’70, ’71, ’72 vintage. Preferably yellow cedar top; from a Canadian source if possible (I’m from Ontario) but will consider all. Photos please. Many thanks..
    Lynn Stewart.

Hello. I am looking to replace the tuning machine heads on my 1972 Yamaki AY333. Your time and assistance would be greatly appreciated. Peter

Hello all. First time post. Would anyone be kind enough to guide me as to how I could obtain more information on my Yamaki AY333. I was ready to use mine as firewood until I stumbled upon this site. Just kidding!

I also have a 133 S… You have the only other one I have heard of. Mines from 1968. If you read this shoot me an email.

The back and sides are stained mahogany…top cedar.

I bought my Yamaki Folk Deluxe A133S in Guelph, Ont. back in 1971. I’ve still got it, now in Australia (2020). I’ve never seen another Yamaki like it. It has a light brown (cedar ?) top with very thin satin finish, a slotted head stock and a 0 fret. I don’t know what material is used for the back and sides but it looks very much like jacaranda. It’s pretty much a copy of a Martin 00-28 and sounds the same. No really, it does! I have no interest in selling it but I’d be curious to know if this model is rare and how much would it be worth now. It’s still in 9.5/10 condition. Any info and/or comments would be appreciated.
