Guys/and girls. I need a 2nd acoustic with electrics. Got a 92 Gibson Starburst which I love, but want a richer fuller tone. Got more money than sense, nut I love quality guitars esp older. Got my 335’s and Esquires, but now I’m just an old singalong busking acoustic old boy who wants to keep singing. I appreciate quality and individuality ( unlike my guitar playing!). So what do I go for? A Koa Taylor? A Collings or a Lowden? I want a guitar that will increase in value( though not to sell) and that is not a “standard production model” I know all about vintage electrics and what to find, but not acoustic. I need some direction, without being ‘sold” current inventory.
My friend said ( although he does have 2 in his shop) Lowden is the one I should go for. HELP
