i have an old yamaha sg. the only identifying marks are on the bottom of the pickups.there is a number that starts with 51. under that is sg 90. it may even be sg 900 - the stamp is quite faint.
there is no serial number on the outside of the guitar - only YAMAHA on the headstock.
does anyone know how i can get some information about this guitar.
i would like to know its age , value , etc. any help greatfully received
I think the SG 90 series was produced from 1974-76. The only speculation concerning value I can give you is what is in the VG price guide. They suggest a price range from $450-$600 US. Hope this helps, SB
