Ive never played one, BUT, they are supposed to be excellent provided you get the LTD edition model, there are still a few out there but they have now stopped making it. I was thinking of buying one myself, but then i started looking at Gibson, lots more money, but i do like Gibson, i always found the main difference between Epi and Gibson are the necks, the Gibsons always feel better to me.

Ya, the Gibson's are cool but on some of the LP's, the neck feels soooooo small width wise. Also, the bodys are really tiny, but they weigh SOOOOOOOOOOO much. I like the SG's, but they are too widely copied, so the flashy-"I gotta Gibson" effect is kinda tuned down...way down. I really like the Firebirds, but I just can't find one that doesn't have that worn cherry look, I like the vintage sunburst. While I'm on, could you tell me if this was a fair traid, or if it's better for me or the guy I traded with.
My Gibson/Baldwin (very used with some minor problems) for his Dean Vendetta (I think XMS with the non-flashy body) and a Vox Valvetronics 30-watt amp. Hey, I was on my favorite band, Kamelot, website, and on Thomas Youngblood's bio, I saw that he'd plays an ESP guitar, and me not knowing that brand, I looked it up. I'm in love. If you've ever played the Limited ESP Ax-50, please tell me how it is 'cuz I've scrapped my idea for the Firebird.
