| Sing - along songs that go down well when we play them are Hey Jude, always goes down a storm and gets them singing, also Town Called Malice, everyone seems to know all the words to that one and of course Maggie May. Or just take along your Beatles song book. |

Umm...
Stereophonics stuff always went down well at the night we did. And the obvious Oasis numbers...and interesting covers too: I know a guy who does a great one-man-and-his-guitar version of Billy Jean and another who does Crazy by Gnarls Barkley |

Depends on who's singing and what mood you're after. Champagne Supernova works well stripped down to just voice and acoustic and will tempt many punters to join in. High and Dry similarly and Fake Plastic Trees is nice but a bit of a downer so it has to be carefully placed in the set.
If you want to "unplug" songs that aren't already acoustic numbers, just go for strong vocal melodies that don't need much backing. Beatles songs are always good examples (except maybe Song #9) and, off the top of my head thinking of a modern, Adele's Chasing Pavements is another. |

| I have been playing a few years now and I reckon you should play for yourself and whatever you enjoy. When your audience see you gettng into it they will be with you. Hope this helps |

| I agree with the "Beatles" suggestion. I had already left when I thought of Creedence Clearwater Revival, and HAD to come back. |
