I can vouch for the popularity of Tanglewood guitars, ive played a few and they are very impressive. My friend had a TA30 or 60, it is a ES335 lookie likie and it was a dream to play, im sure he only paid £300 new for it.

It is my understanding that Tanglewood guitars are fairly common in Canada and the UK but since I don’t have boots on the ground I have no way of knowing for sure. Your Aviator is no longer being produced but it was likely made in either Korea or Indonesia in the 1990’s. Current Tanglewood Acoustic production is out of China.

Value? Hopefully a bit more than what you paid.

      Rare doesn’t necessarily equal valuable.

But if the guitar works for you and you are happy with it then such things as re-sale value shouldn’t be important.
