How do you take off a pickup cover??

does anyone know how to take the pickup cover off a humbucker? like the chrome covers that come on most humbuckers like on les paul standards? anyone know how to take those off?

take the humbuckers out, turn them upside down, you should have 2-4 screws (small crossheads) on the underside, unscrew these, then you should have a blob of solder holding the cover on, desolder this 'blob' and bobs your uncle, job done..

are you about the screws? because i have seen humbuckers upside down without a cover and they still had those screws

discribes how to remove the cover from a seymour duncan, i would think it is very similar to your pup.
