A friend of mine contacted me about a guitar that he recently acquired and I cannot seem to find any information on it.
The guitar appears to be old and is about a 3/4 size acoustic with the word RANGER inlaid into the headstock.
I have found some info about a guitar made by EKO called a Ranger but all of the pictures that I have found of this model seem to have the word EKO on the headstock instead of RANGER.

For what it's worth, the EKO Co. probably did make your guitar in Italy in the sixties. I have a Vox Country Western (also made by EKO) from that era, and while it looks kind of unusual,it plays and sounds extremely well.
Some awful good wood went into my guitar, I'd be interested in hearing more about yours.
