I live in the UK and have got my hands on a 8007MR That has suffered the same fate as the one here described. The metal fatigue has caused the bridge mechanism to collaps. I have a friend however who has milled me a new base block froma solid block of allunimium. It took 5 housr to make and strong enough to take all 5 springs on the trem. We can offer a replacement for this rare guitar and am offering this guitar for sale should there be anyone interested. The guitar is origional in all other respects with all pickups, controls and hardware in place and fully functional. The color is Red though the paint is chipped in a couple of places. Make me a resonable offer and you can own this very rare guitar. It will be on ebay shortly but i am open to email offers.
