Hello people, could anyone out there help me please! I have a BM Cavalier acoustic guitar with BM Cavalier made in Japan on the label in the soundhole and a sticker on the headstock saying made in japan? I know nothing about this guitar and it seems neither does anyone else! I know its old but have no idea of any dates and the closest I have come is in the guitar museum under Yasuma BM Cavalier but i cannot find any pictures to compare.

Please help me find out what and where she came from. Thanking you all
    in advance……jo x

Hi there. I bought my B M Cavalier guitar brand new in the mid 1970s. I found it in an old fashioned musical instrument shop in Bishopsgate London. I played the guitar for the first time today (13 Jan 20190) after many years of being in my wardrobe. It’s tone and intonation are as good as ever. At that time anything made in Japan was considered cheap and nasty. I think I only paid £28 for it. We know better now. It’s a well-made instrument. It’s not considered a vintage or collectible, as it doesn’t bear a fancy logo. So don’t think about selling it, just enjoy playing it every day. Musically yours Steve Freedman
