okay guys here it is im currently the owner of a stratocaster starcaster and just got a kit sg for Christmas i want to know if you guys have any tips for me

im staining her lightly to have a unique wood tone then im bolting/screwing the neck in place using a copper back plate kinda like the chrome deal on the rear of the fender i just wanted to know if this is a good idea or not (the neck)
