I’ve written an iPhone App that lets you see and hear the rhythm of a piece of written music. It’s called Dr Rhythm and here’s a screen shot:

Just type in the notes/rest/ties/triplets set the BPM & Time Signature and it’ll play the rhythm and show you the notes being played along with a metronome.

it’s a great way to quickly learn how to play tricky rhythms.
