I forgot to say that it's in perfect condition. After I bought it after about a year I found that I was useless at the guitar so it's been in its case for over 40 years!  |

You might have something quite valuable there!
Do you have any pictures you can post?
Without more information, I'd suggest that if you list it on ebay you should try a reserve price over $500 - it could even be worth over $1,000.
Disclaimer: a lot depends on the conditions it's been stored under for all that time - it could be worthless if the neck has warped etc. |
