"Hijack" as in pulling a thread way off-line from its starting point (eg, an FX thread eventually leading to apostrophe positioning Wink ).

AFAIK, the 55-94 is US but could be also available as Skyline in Japan. Myself, personally, I don't get hung up on where an instrument is made. As long as the QC is there and the components are good (f'r'instance, I think the Lakland offers choice of Bartolini or Dunkmore Semen) then it can be the 5th moon of Jupiter for all I care. What I do like is that MM nearish the bridge and the Jazz at the neck. Two of my faves in combo. I have a "to be completed someday" project along those lines.
